  1. Yes, I remembered. It’s location was on Grant Avenue and California streets. Around the corner on California Street was the Yamato Restaurant. I missed the bar at Fong Fong’s having milk shakes.

  2. I always remember having hamburgers at the Stockton Street Fong Fong's. The JukeBox was always playing the hit song's of the 60's. I always enjoyed a milkshake there too. Great memories of the 50's thru 60's.

  5. Two of my uncles, my dad's brothers, were the bakers at Fong Fong, Grant Avenue site. The pastries, cookies, cakes and pies were a common item at our household. An abundance of Mooncakes and sugar statues, pig cookies in cages were common place at our home. Only one uncle recorded their recipes, however that manual was lost between the siblings. The only recipe I have is the Fong Fong Butter cookie, which I occasionally make.

  6. Were there two Fong Fongs, one on Grant Avenue and one on Stockton Street? Or did it move at some point? I remember going, but I was too young to know where I was.
