For the sake of the Snowy Plover, "Yes" on Measure G. Western Snowy Plovers occur near Sunset Dunes at Ocean Beach. Human activity associated with Sunset Dunes has adversely affected these birds. There has been increased disturbance due to foot traffic and general recreation. Unfettered access to the dunes has led to people and off-leash dogs trampling fragile vegetation and disturbing roosting areas.
